Super friendly bakery with innovative dishes and pastries of exceptional quality, influenced by the culinary traditions of several Asian countries. It's the long awaited permanent location of what was a cult pop up around SF for the last few months. The Kaya toast is always the star of the show for me, although everything is just succulent. The coffee was also great. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Had the shrimpwich, it was awesome. But a bit pricey ($24). I’d go back again to try the other stuff. I got here at 12, not much of a line. At 12:30 there was a huge line and stuff started selling out so be careful of that.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon 30 minutes before closing so they ran out of their kaya buns but we still got the amazing kaya toast! There’s nice outdoor COVID seating as well, and the sesame horchata was amazing - so refreshing and extremely flavorful. The kaya toast was so yummy and not sickly sweet but still super super yummy and the texture was flakey and buttery. Would come again! The line is usually long.

Came here a few time, never wrote a review until now. Love the pastries and the drinks. Sesame Horchata is the best plus is dairy free. Also the sandwich is awesome, especially the milk bread they use. You can buy a loaf of their milk bread, I would definitely recommend it.

SF signature bakery, non ube tart was definitely the highlight. A little expensive but it was worth it! Got a black sesame cappuccino and breakfast sandwich as well, all of it was high quality.

They did not skimp on the ingredients at all! The honey glazed Raclette with mushrooms was pure heaven and it was a nice mix of savory and sweet for breakfast! The kaya toast was decent, personal bias that I am not a huge fan of Kaya, but I was still satisfied. The service is something to write home about, Isalina was helpful from start to finish, and so friendly that she held a conversation throughout recommendations! She made us feel at home and welcomed. We will definitely be coming back!

The last breakfast everyone deserves. From the delicious handmade japanese milk bread crafted into their delicious pandan toast to their many creative and delicious breakfast buns(gyeranbaang and the mushroom bun being among their best) to their delicious breakfast sandwiches to every last thing they make is crafted to the highest degree of excellence. Every bit of the price here is justified by the highest quality and dedication from the staff. A wonderful testament to the quality of food in the Richmond District and on Clement, but also to the culinary talent present in San Francisco as a whole.

Such a neighborhood hidden gem in Richmond area. Their pastry are so good! Everything bun tastes wonderful and bun tastes really fresh. Love the vibe here as well. They have weekend special sold out quickly! Come early if you want to try their special. Creative menu combines both Asian and Western culture food elements together. Love sesame latte, soft shell crab sandwich and the salad here. Savory granola sprinkles in the green salad makes it so special and churchy taste it’s the best! I will come back another time to try out other items.

New favorite bakery in SF. I've been wanting to try the kaya toast here for years now, and I'm so glad I finally went today! It lives up to the hype; the bread is almost like sweet croissant toast, and the kaya jam topping is incredible. It has the perfect balance of sweet and salty; I would 100% get it again. We also got the gyeranbbang, which is a cornbread topped with cheese, and filled with an egg and scallions. I loved the spicy and savory flavor profile, and the cheese on top. The cornbread base was super moist. Would highly recommend this as well. I wish I could've tried everything in the display case; everything looked so good. Will definitely be back to try more! Service is really friendly. The food does take a few mins to come out if you asked for it to be warmed, and the kaya toast takes time to prepare. They have lots of outdoor seating in front and it wasn't too hard to find a table on a Sunday afternoon.

The cutest name with yummy pastries?! I'm lined up. Unfortunately, the one time I was finally able to give them a try, they only had one type of pastry available. SO SAD but there's always next time. I ordered the egg sando and an iced americano, as well as a caramelized toast (I'm 100% sure the name was different but I can't remember) to share. The egg sando had soft milk bread and creamy Japanese-style egg salad topped with lots of chives and bacon bits. My friend's shrimp sandwich was also delicious with a juicy shrimp patty and lots of flavor. The caramelized toast was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the best Asian compliment for anything - not so sweet! Seating is extremely limited with only 2-3 small tables and a small standing area. I really hope to be able to come by earlier next time so I can try their other pastries!
